Gemala Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1985 to commence business in tourism and hospitality services.

Under the present management, Gemala underwent structural upgrading to increase its capital and diversify its activities. It continues to forge ahead to expend its activities in tourism activities, especially in domestic tourism and promoting Malaysia as tourist destinations.

MANAGEMENT

 Gemala is managed by the Directors with a team of qualified and experienced personnel who has vast knowledge in travel trades industry. All departments i.e. Ticketing, Tours and Sales are runs by experienced and dedicated staffs. Supported by qualified management assistance.

DIRECTOR'S PROFILE

 Noorzaleha Baharuddin, Managing Director

 Professional Experience

Having had almost 20 years experience in travel trade industry. She began her career upon completion her study in 1981, as Reservation & Ticketing Assistance. In 1983 she joined Tourworld Sdn Bhd as Sales Executive before joining Nadia Travel & Tours in 1986 as Sales Manager. In 1991 she worked as Senior Sales Manager Olympik Holidays Sdn Bhd until 1999.

Having gained the experience she venture into own business by buying over Gemala Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd in January 2000. She initiated the business expansion of the company and reestablished it market share, especially in the Government and Corporate Sector.

She is also actively involved in a major association for travel agentcy. Currently hold as an Executive Committee Member of Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), and a Committee Member for Malaysian Bumiputra Travel Agent Association (Bumitra Malaysia).

Ludin Hasan, Executive Director

 Professional Experience

Appointed as the Executive Director of Gemala Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd since early 2000. He also holds other directorship in several private companies dealing with construction, oil and gas.

Graduated from University Science of Malaysia and has attended various management and leadership courses including at INTAN and German Foundation for International Developments (DSE) in Berlin.

He was serving with the Government Administrative Service for more than 20 years before venturing into private business undertakings.

 Since 1986 Gemala has always been amongst the top ten Agency and had won a series of Million Dollar Awards in recognition of our achievements by MAS.
